Sun 13 Introductory form and Sun 38 Short form

I've worked extensively with set 1, and set 2.

I have a City and Guilds FE teaching certificate. I am an ex State-Registered Podiatrist and have worked in the NHS, so have a good understanding of health issues in the older population. I first studied Tai Chi in the 1990s with local and international teachers (Cheng Man Ch'ing short form, Bagua and Qigong). After a break of a few years I returned to tai chi and became an instructor with the Tai Chi For Health Institute, also gaining additional training with the Tai Chi and Qigong Forum for Health TCCKFH  before discovering Masters Faye and Tary Yip in 2008.


In addition to private classes: I led classes for Age Concern for five years between 2005 and 2010; I've taught regular classes at the Tytherington Club;  one-off events such as the 50+ show and workplace away-days; led funded courses for local U3A groups and senior citizens, and sessions for disability groups of all ages eg David Lewis Centre and South Manchester mental health resource centres. I have specialist experience in Parkinsons Disease having led weekly sessions of Taiji Qigong for Macclesfield Parkinson society "ALEX" group in Bollington from Jan 2011 to July 2018.
